I am inquiring are you seeking experienced bookkeepers at this time for remote services? Hi Seth! I currently use QuickBooks Pro 2010 and have an out of state friend who uses QB Pro 2009 who wants me to get his company up to date. Are the versions compatible – or would we both need to have the same version in order for me to work on his file? He’s not ready to upgrade quite yet and I don’t want to tell him that I can help him if the versions aren’t compatible. Thanks!
Hey Laura! Please post questions in the ask us section in the future. You can only use the QB data file in one edition of QuickBooks. So either he needs to upgrade to QB 2010, or you would need to get a copy of QB 2009.
